A revelation or a hallucination

unknown to humanity, mortals

danced on the delusional wisdom

relayed from an unknown source

(They vowed to serve “HIM” beyond their grave).

Humanness draped in fear

brawled perpetually,

(to please the mighty),

greed engulfed the conscience,

as they longed for “The Wonderland”,

fashioned to disown the “NOW” ,they

washed their souls in “Infidels blood”.

Who filled the bill, the sane or the insane?

(Or was it  their “HE” from the land of Utopia?).

  1. Honorable Poetess Piusha Singh,
Many thanks for your amazing sarcastic verse as above, I am so sorry, I was in Dubai for almost a month, hence I could not track and trace your poem to post a comment, hope everyone, Raj and Brinda, both are okay and give my regards to them.
Your above poem refers, an excellent sarcastic version based on religion and its issues, thanks for sharing, my applause, my love, please accept my congratulations. Sarcastic is an adjective that means expressing or expressive exposure to ridicule that wounds like humor which is bitter and which hurts, Your poem depicts this aspect.
The word Infidel literally means “unfaithful” which is a critical term used in certain religions for those who do not believe the central doctrine of one’s own religion, are members of another religion, or are not religious.
Infidel is an ecclesiastical term in Christianity around which the Church developed a body of theology that deals with the concept of infidelity, which makes a clear differentiation between those who were baptized and followed the teachings of the Church versus those who are outside the faith and belief. The term infidel was used by Christians to describe those perceived as the enemies of Christianity.
I wish to appreciate and review this poem in my own blogs elaborately with your kind permission, good luck and best regards to you dear Poetess Piusha Singh
